Our Little Singer!

Keira loves to sing.  Once she learns the words to a song, she will sing her heart out.  She loves hearing this one song that is about friends from a Tinkerbell Movie.  Here she is singing her song in the car.

Keira can also be quite the little comedian.  She is very opinionated and speaks what she thinks.  The other day at VBS, the bible story was about Queen Esther.  Keira thought they called her Queen Buster.  After many, many reminders, I think she finally learned it Esther not Buster!  She even said to me the next day, "Buster, I mean Esther..."

Swim Lessons and Trips to the Park

Keira has been having a blast since mommy got out of work.  We have spent many days going to the park, VBS, play dates, and swimming lessons.

Easter 2012

The weather was perfect this year for Easter!  We made our bunny cake the day before.  On Easter morning we baked an apple butter braid that was delicious!  The Easter Bunny filled Keira's basket with some movies and a few other goodies.  He also hid some eggs for her in the backyard.  Keira was very excited to hunt eggs this year.

She just had to act silly with daddy's gardening hat!

So after we were done celebrating at home, Keira got to go over to see her cousins and had a double dose of fun!  She jumped on their trampoline, played kickball, ate good food, and continued to entertain everyone!

So Keira is just really the crowd pleaser these days.  She is always saying such funny things.  The other day on the way home we passed a carnival.  Keira said, "Look mommy!  What is that place?"  I answered, "I don't know!  What you do you think it's all about?"  She answered, "That's the place you go to and tell lots of funny jokes!"  That kept me smiling all week!  Here's some more pictures to smile at...

Keira is also very observant of the cars while we are driving around town.  She likes to call out the different colors she sees.  She particularly likes YELLOW CARS.  They are her favorite!

We decided to start off our spring vacation with updated family pictures.

This is the one we ordered, however we might be getting more later!

Family Getaway!

So this week Keira got to truly experience her first mini vacation.  She was so eager to to fly on an airplane, especially after watching the cartoon Caillou where he goes on a plane ride.

Once we got to the hotel and got our things settled, we decided to head on over to In and Out Burgers that was near our Hotel.

After that we decided to do what the tourist do and walk around.

Keira LOVED going to Excalibur and seeing the castle!

Then we went on to the Luxor and took in some sites.

Later it was back to the room.  This is where Keira spent most of her time watching the roller coaster come by.

Our next stop was the M and M store!  

We had a great time looking at all of the M and M stuff on 4 floors!

The next day, while Daddy was in his meeting, we went and did a little more site seeing.

Next it was time for lunch at The Rain Forest Cafe

So after another brief rest, we walked down to the Bellagio to see the water show.

I think this was one of our most favorite parts of the trip!  We absolutely enjoyed watching the water show.

There was a slight breeze and we even felt the mist of the water reach us toward the end of the show.

Before we knew it, we were back on the plane ready to go home!

Our trip was fun, but there's no place like home!
