Keira's 9 Months Old!

Keira is really getting around these days! Just today she started pushing around her little activity table. She pushed it all over the house for at least 30 minutes. She is trying to walk, but still doesn't have the confidence to take a step on her own without holding on to something. She is also constantly talking, although we don't have a clue as to what she is saying. Alot of the time we can make out MomMom and DadDad!! Keira is also waving bye. It's too cute! The other day we were walking the dogs and she started waving at the houses we passed by. Keira's crazy hair day!

8 Months and Counting

Keira recently turned 8 months old on the 27th. My how time is flying by. She has given us so many precious moments, not to mention a few scary ones too! Keira loves crawling all over the place and is briefly standing hands free at times. She loves to look at her big trees in the back yard and smiles and oohh's over them. She also loves to try to pet her dogs and go for walks in the carrier every day. Keira has had some problems with allergies recently. It appears that she has had a reaction to egg yolks, strawberries in YoBaby Yogurt, and possibly a reaction to carrots. The other day she had TERRIBLE hives that might have been a delayed reaction to either carrots or the strawberries that sent her to the after hours pediatriac facility. She's okay, but sure did scare us. Smiles!

This past week Keira has had a lot of fun playing. She loves to clap her hands. Her little teeth are looking pretty, however every time I try to get a picture of them she closes her mouth. She is making lots of sounds like blurb blurb. She gets very excited when she sees Duke and Daisy and loves it when she can get close enough to pet them.

Our Little Monkey

Keira finished up swim classes last Friday and really enjoyed being in the water. Looks like we'll have to check out the new pool up on hwy. 70 sometime so she can continue to have fun in the water. Keira's swim instructor.

7 Months

Keira is 7 months old today! We've had quite an exciting week!! Keira began baby swim class last week, and it continues this week too. She is loving the water so much! We even had one lady tell us that she loved her expressions so much that she has been taking lots of pictures and plans to get them to us. Now that she is crawling all over the place, she has quickly moved on to pulling herself up to standing. On Thursday at swim class, Keira was smiling really big and I noticed that there was not one, but two teeth coming in on her bottom front gums. Getting Keira's first teeth has been a bit painful for her and her sleep patterns have been off. But she is looking very cute with these little teeth coming in. Today we are trying green beans for the first time. Hopefully she will like her veggies!!

At the beginning of last week Keira kept getting these books which were on the bottom shelf. I moved them up thinking that would hold her off for a while. I was WRONG! Within a few days she was standing up at them ready to pick out something to read.
