Halloween 2013

This was Keira's busiest and best Halloween by far.  She started off with Trunk or Treating at Alpha School.

The Next evening we headed out to my school's Fall Festival.

We were both fairies for this event.

The following week Keira's school had crazy hair day.

If that isn't crazy, I don't know what is!

Then it was time for the big event!  Trick or treating!

After trick or treating in the neighborhood for about 40 minutes, we came home.  Keira set up her own "shop" at the front door with her pumpkins and goodies ready to pass out.  I later asked her, "what was more fun, trick or treating or passing out candy?"  Right away she said, "Passing out candy!"  She had so much fun passing out candy to everyone!  It's so great to see her caring yet witty personality.

First Field-trip!

Keira had the pleasure of going on her first field trip with Alpha Pre-K today.  It was an amazing trip to see so many happy little faces having fun in perfect fall weather.

Our little one is growing up before our eyes!  Keira is one happy girl going to Alpha School this year!

Our 2013 Summer Trip to Ruidoso

The last few days we were able go to Ruidoso. We had a blast visiting Nana and Granny!  We also had a little tourist fun while we were there.

We also went to the Flying J Ranch and had a blast!  Keira loved petting the horse and going into the tee-pee.  She also liked going through the little building built to be an old timer church.  But most of all, I think she enjoyed the show and clapped throughout all of the songs they sang.

At first Keira didn't want anything to do with the jail.  Once she saw everyone getting their pictures made in it, she had a change of attitude and was ready to put on her Jail Bird Face.

Keira has been having so much fun this summer!  Here she is being silly, playing with her bear from Build a Bear Workshop, and sitting in a new car seat.

Keira has been having a great time building things lately.  Here she is proudly showing off her tinker toy creation, her musical shaker, a Lego house that she built on her own, and a tower she recently made.
