A Trip to Ruidoso

This week Keira and Mommy took our first trip together to see Nana and Granny in Ruidoso. It was cold and windy, but we had a good time visiting family!!Keira, Granny, & Mommy

Yesterday Mommy found Keira a new super cute hat. Doesn't she look like Strawberry Shortcake in her hat. Here she is getting ready to go to story time at the library.

Fantastic 5 Months

This week Keira officially turned 5 months. Mommy is off of work for the summer and we had a lot of fun. We went to story time at the library and a playdate with some friends. We also went to a baby shower for Keira's new cousin Sophie, arriving in June.

This week Keira tried avacado for the first time. She really liked it, but it made her constipated. I think we're going to hold off on solids just a little longer.

After a long day, it's finally time to go to sleep! But, I can guarantee we will most likely be up and smiling by 6:30 a.m.

Yummy Rice Cereal

Keira went in for her 4 month check up this week. She got 2 more shots and barely even cried!! She now weighs 12 pounds and 10 ounces. She is 23 1/2 inches long. Last week we put her high chair together. She's still a bit small in it, but felt like a big girl trying to sit in it.

We got the doctor's okay and decided to see if Keira would be interested in eating some rice cereal. She loved it! Daddy had a great time giving Keira little spoonfulls.

Keira has also been loving going on walks. As the weather continues to get hot, we decided it was time to get a good hat for walking. We found this reversible one at Old Navy on clearance and Keira really seemed to like wearing it.
