Fantastic 5 Months

This week Keira officially turned 5 months. Mommy is off of work for the summer and we had a lot of fun. We went to story time at the library and a playdate with some friends. We also went to a baby shower for Keira's new cousin Sophie, arriving in June.

This week Keira tried avacado for the first time. She really liked it, but it made her constipated. I think we're going to hold off on solids just a little longer.

After a long day, it's finally time to go to sleep! But, I can guarantee we will most likely be up and smiling by 6:30 a.m.

Yummy Rice Cereal

Keira went in for her 4 month check up this week. She got 2 more shots and barely even cried!! She now weighs 12 pounds and 10 ounces. She is 23 1/2 inches long. Last week we put her high chair together. She's still a bit small in it, but felt like a big girl trying to sit in it.

We got the doctor's okay and decided to see if Keira would be interested in eating some rice cereal. She loved it! Daddy had a great time giving Keira little spoonfulls.

Keira has also been loving going on walks. As the weather continues to get hot, we decided it was time to get a good hat for walking. We found this reversible one at Old Navy on clearance and Keira really seemed to like wearing it.

This week Keira learned to roll onto her back from the tummy position!

She's also enjoying some of her books.

Keira picked out her purple elephant a few weeks ago at the store. She loves playing with it every day!

3 Months and Growing!

This was Keira's first week to spend with Grandma Tevy as Mommy had to go back to work. This week Keira has really shown an interest in some of her toys. She likes to grab on to them and shake them around. Keira is also finally getting big enough to sit in her Bumbo chair.
